👶 Suitable Age Group:

Children aged 5 to 7 years old who have completed Early Intervention and are preparing for structured academic settings (including PPKI or inclusive classrooms)

🏫 Setting:

• Small group classroom environment with academic and functional learning routines

• Designed for children transitioning from EIP to school-based learning

• Emphasis on structure, independence, and classroom behaviour

👩‍🏫 Teacher-to-Student Ratio:

1:3 to 1:5 — allowing guided instruction with room for group interaction and self-paced tasks

🎯 Focus Areas / Domains:

This program introduces foundational academics while reinforcing essential developmental skills:

• Reading & Writing Readiness (phonics, letter formation, sentence construction)

• Comprehension Skills (following instructions, story recall, question response)

• Basic Mathematical Concepts (numbers, counting, quantity, sequencing)

• Social Interaction (group work, communication, turn-taking)

• School Routine Familiarisation (sitting tolerance, transitions, classroom etiquette)

📍 Special Feature:

• Weekly or Monthly Outings to build real-world social skills and generalise classroom learning to public environments (e.g., shops, parks, cafes)

🎯 School Transition Prep:

• Focused preparation for entry into PPKI (Program Pendidikan Khas Integrasi) or similar inclusive school programmes

• Emphasis on emotional regulation, independent task completion, and confidence in group learning
