📘 Program: Oral Placement Therapy (1:1 Session)

👶 Suitable Age Group:

Children aged 2 – 12 years old who require assistance in feeding, speech or oral sensory.

🏫 Setting:

• One-on-one sessions with a trained Behaviour Therapist

• Conducted in a structured and emotionally safe environment

👩‍🏫 Therapist-to-Child Ratio:

1:1 — ensuring consistency, safety, and focused activities

🎯 Focus Areas / Domains:

• Oral Muscle Strengthening (lip closure, tongue movement, jaw stability, blowing and sucking exercises)

• Oral Motor Coordination (coordinating lip, tongue, and jaw movements for speech and feeding)

• Speech Sound Development (sound production, pronunciation practice, speech clarity)

• Feeding & Swallowing Skills (chewing, swallowing, managing different food textures, straw drinking)

• Oral Sensory Activities (tolerance to textures, temperature awareness, reducing oral sensitivity)

• Breath Control & Airflow (blowing activities, breath support for speech, voice control)

• Functional Communication (encouraging vocalisation, sound imitation, expressive communication)
