About the Program

📘 Program: Sports and Physical Activity


👶 Suitable Age Group:


Children aged 5 - 12 years old who require more physical movement, exercise and work out.



🏫 Setting:

  • Conducted in the gym/play area of the centre.

  • Multiple equipment used to enhance the activities



👩‍🏫 Teacher-to-Student Ratio:


1:3 to 1:5, depending on activity and individual needs



🎯 Focus Areas / Domains:


This program promotes physical development and functional independence through:

  • Gross Motor Development (walking, running, jumping, climbing, balance)

  • Fine Motor Development (grasping, hand control, coordination, object manipulation)

  • Balance & Coordination (obstacle courses, ball play, movement control, body coordination)

  • Strength & Endurance (core strength, muscle building, stamina through active play)

  • Sensory Integration Activities (swinging, jumping, tactile play, body awareness)

  • Social Play & Interaction (turn-taking, group games, following instructions, cooperative play)

  • Body & Spatial Awareness (movement imitation, positioning, understanding space and direction)



🎯 Program Goal:


To assist children that struggle with everyday movement by providing structured physical activities that improve muscle strength, coordination, balance, and motor planning, so they can perform daily tasks more independently and participate actively in school and social environments.

Ahmad Syarqawi bin Ahmad Safari (Coach Awie)

Awie has a lot of experience when it comes to sports and physical activities. He was a physiotherapist and a swimming instructor. Holding a Bachelor's degree in Sports Science, he has the knowledge and experience to teach.
