Last Saturday, something magical happened at Hi 5 SEN.

Our Sensory Camp 2025—hosted at our Puchong Jaya branch—turned out to be one of our most successful events to date. The slots filled up faster than we ever imagined, and by the end of the day, we weren’t just left with messy tables and empty juice boxes—but also full hearts and unforgettable memories.

Why Sensory Camp Matters?

For many neurodivergent children, the world can feel too loud, too bright, or too unpredictable. That’s why sensory regulation is so important.

Our camp was designed with this in mind—filled with activities that helped children explore, express, and regulate through play. And more importantly, they weren’t doing it alone. Parents were there too, joining in every splash, every squeeze, every joyful moment.

What We Did?

From messy play and obstacle courses to calming sensory corners, every station was designed to:

Support sensory processing
Encourage movement and coordination
Strengthen parent-child bonding
Promote confidence in a group setting

We even saw some children who were previously hesitant, fully engage with the textures, tools, and teammates around them. Those were our hero moments.

Parents, You Were the Heart of It

One of our biggest takeaways from the event? The level of parent engagement.

You didn’t just watch—you played, encouraged, and connected. Many of you told us this was your first time attending a camp like this, and the feedback brought tears to our eyes (in the best way).

Behind the Scenes

What many didn’t see was the effort our team poured in—preparing all week long and working into the night to make sure everything was safe, accessible, and exciting.

Right after the event? Our teachers headed straight into training. Because at Hi 5 SEN, growth doesn’t stop when the event ends.
